Standard short-course tuberculosis therapy — used in combination with standard long-course medicines for at least 2 months
Nausea and vomiting
Eye trouble

Important to take medicine as instructed
Return to clinic straight away
if changes in vision (blurred or colour changes), ongoing nausea, vomiting, unusual tiredness, yellowing of eyes, dark urine, pale faeces
Blood test
Check kidney function (UEC), potassium level, rheumatoid factor (RF) 1-2 weeks after starting medicine, then every 6-12 months
